Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Help sort through and organize food products.
- Assist with Spartan customer service.
- Stock and organize food bank shelves.
- Fill client orders.
- Clean and sanitize the food storage and preparation spaces.
- Update food and basic needs inventory.
Volunteer Schedule:
- Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (expanded hours in the fall semester)
- Time: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Shifts: Can be in two-hour blocks
How to Sign Up:
- Complete the Volunteer Application: Fill out the online application form with your contact information and availability.

- Attend a Volunteer Orientation: Once your application is reviewed, you will be invited to attend a volunteer orientation session where you will receive training and learn more about your role.
- Sign Required Documents and Complete Training:
- Sign a confidentiality statement.
- Take civil rights, service, and safe food handling training.
- Undergo a background check.
4. Schedule Your Volunteer Shifts: After completing orientation, you can sign up for volunteer shifts based on your availability and the food bank's needs.
