REGARDING COVID-19: In light of recent events we will no longer be accepting food or other physcial donations until further notice. However, your monetary donations are still extremely helpful to keep our operation going in these trying times. Thank you for your continued support and stay healthy!

 

 

 

The MSU Student Food Bank is funded through kind and generous donors. See below for donation options. All donations are tax deductible. 

Individual Donations: You can help the MSU Student Food Bank purchase food and other necessary supplies for students by sending a check payable to the MSU Student Food Bank to 463 East Circle Drive Rm 151, East Lansing, MI 48824 

MSU Development: If you already donate through MSU development (givingto.msu.edu) you may designate your gift to the MSU Student Food Bank! Simply include our name on your donation form or donate online by visiting: https://www.givingto.msu.edu/gift/ and search for fund "MSU Student Food Bank" 

The Bea and Roy Mott Fund: This endowment fund provides interest income from invested donations. To donate to this fund, please make checks payable to MSU and designate the MSU Student Food Bank, account AB1610 on the memo line of your check. Donations can be sent to MSU Development at 535 Chestnut Rd. Rm 300, East Lansing, MI 48824. Or by selected the Bea and Roy Mott Fund at https://www.givingto.msu.edu/gift/ 

Business Partnerships: Organizations can provide monetary or other donations on a regular basis (such as non-perishable food items, personal items and toiletries, bread, grocery bags etc.) A list of needs can be found here

Fundraisers/Drives: Your organization, church, or group can help the MSU Student Food Bank by sponsoring a fundraising event, a non-perishable food drive, a toiletries drive or a combination of the three. Please contact us if you would like to hold a fundraiser or drive. 

Volunteer Opportunities: At each distribution, 25-30 student volunteers are needed to help package food, stock shelves and serve our clients. Refer to the volunteer tab for more information.

 

 

Interested in donating food and/or household items? We can accept non-expired food, household, and personal care items! Please see below for items in high demand. Donations can be dropped off during Olin Health Center's open hours. Please email foodbank@msu.edu with questions.
